Grown up around movies, the young screenwriting student Tapsa Kuusniemi had many a time felt that the music in Finnish films was lacking. In 1999 the idea of finding a remedy for the situation came to flesh when Tapsa summoned Teemu Rimpinen and Erno Helen and painted his vision of a professional media music team to them. Teemu and Erno didn't hesitate to come aboard - Firelight Studios was born!
